This is a cheap board but a goof first one! this board is more of and a good one at that. this board come stock with really shitty wheels so if you do get this board you should also buy some different wheels. just don't be an idiot and speed check in the middle of the rode and let you board get run over because that sucks... Doug. get this board and you will be happy with you choice.

chinook

This board is a downhill race board if you have a good set up you would be able to go as fast as a car down hill with out falling of. This board has near to no tail but it has a drop down deck. This deck is made by landyachtz. If you do get this board you should get speed vent wheels and the caliber trucks. This board is a board for the experiences do not get this for you first board! Always when going downhills with this board where safety gear are you could end up dead...

Pintail 43

This is a nice riding pin tail It also has a cool Graffiti this board is made by original and comes stranded with the s 10 trucks. It is ok for downhill but is more of a board for just going around town and the foreshore. It is awesome for cursing and caving. You can do tricks with the tail because of how big it is. You can also do nice g truns on the noes but it takes i allot for time. This board it 43 inch. So this is quite a long board.

Tan tien

This board is one of the the best board’s for freestyle  This board has nice kicks and has a nice flex. It feels really nice when doing a hippy jump because of the flex you just spring in to it and the the board goes back to normal. This concave on this board is made for freestyle  If you would like a board that you can do the same tricks that you can do on a skate board this would be the board to get. It is like a skate board but just longer.

Dervish

This board is great for down hilling and freestyle. If you do get this board you and you want to do freestyle you should move the trucks back in the grove that they make for you so you have more of a tail so you can do better tricks and this also make it easy to do them. This board is made from bamboo so is very flexibly and might hit the ground if you do a jump on it but that dose not effect the performance at all. 

Z flex longboard

This board is a cheap alternative long board. Don’t get me wrong it is a great board. It is a great board to start of with if you don’t know if you want to long board because it is one of the cheapest boards. This board is nice for get place to place and carving. This board is strong and durable you can hit the gutter with it and it comes out fine. This board can take some hills it you tighten the trucks. This board is a great board but it is not the best but it is the best for its price. 

Switchblade

This is a great board for down hill because of the drop throw trucks and how close to the ground this board sits. You will get a lot of speed on this board and if you come of you may get really badly hurt so this is not a board for the unexperienced. If you top mount this board it becomes a good all round board. This board also has a drop down concave which locks you feet in and complement the nice w concave. This is a great board if you plan on bombing a lot of big hills.

Ala-Moana bamboo barra

This is a great boar is the ala-Moana bamboo barra. This board is made by sector 9. I recommend this board if you want to cures or cave because the gull wings which make it nice for turning because it is so far of the ground. If you removed the second pivot it would make it possible to slide and go down steeper hills. You would also have to get new wheels if you choose to make this in to a sliding board I do not recommend it for sliding. If you want to slide I would recommend getting another board.

Switch 37

This is a good all round board but it has no tail’s so you can not do many tricks on it other then sliding but it has a nice drop down concave which locks you feet really well. This board feels great when sliding it is all so really easy to push which makes it awesome for cursing around town and the for shore. This board is made form 9 plies so it can take anything you throw at it. This is a good board to start of with I have one and I love the ride and the slides.

Longboarding

Longboarding is fast becoming a "thing" which is good thing because in Darwin there might be slide jams, races and some cruses. There is already group starting to form like the northern territory gravity spots association. This club is a Facebook group that does some meet and slide jams. This group is for any rider’s girls and boys. You can join by going on Facebook and press the join button they will accept anyone.  So join up and come for a ride! “Bomb hill’s not Iraq”
